Privacy Policy
Short version: the JuristHub app is a webview wrapper for a personal portfolio. There's nothing to sign up for, and we don't collect personal data ourselves.
The very short version
The JuristHub Android app (com.juristhub.app) is a thin native shell that loads
djlexfolio.tech in a WebView. It has no user accounts, no
sign-up, no in-app analytics SDK, and no payments. The only personal data involved is whatever the
wrapped website itself sets (e.g. cookies for preferences) — same as visiting it in a normal
browser.
1. What this Policy covers
This Privacy Policy covers the JuristHub website (dhananan.github.io/JuristHub),
the JuristHub Android app (package com.juristhub.app), and the wrapped portfolio at
djlexfolio.tech (collectively, the "Services"). "We" / "our"
refers to the JuristHub project owner.
2. What we collect
The app itself does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. It has no telemetry SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising ID access. The system permissions it declares are limited to:
INTERNET— required so the WebView can load the website.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE— used to detect when the device is offline.
The wrapped website may, like any website, set:
- Standard browser cookies for things like remembering your theme preference.
- Server access logs on the hosting provider (GitHub Pages / your CDN), which may include your IP address, user-agent, and the URL requested. These are short-lived operational logs, not user profiles.
If the website later adds privacy-impacting features (analytics, comments, embedded video) this Policy will be updated to disclose them.
3. What we don't collect
- Your name, email, phone, or any account credentials. There are no accounts.
- Precise or coarse location.
- Contacts, SMS, calendar, photos, microphone, or camera.
- Advertising or device identifiers from within the app.
- Behavioural analytics in the app shell.
4. How information is used
Anything the wrapped website sets (cookies, access logs) is used solely to operate the website — keeping it online, serving the right content, troubleshooting outages. It is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for profiling.
5. Sharing
We do not sell or trade personal information. Request data may pass through standard internet infrastructure providers — most notably:
- GitHub Pages — hosts
dhananan.github.io/JuristHub. See GitHub's privacy statement. - The hosting provider for
djlexfolio.tech(operational logs only). - Authorities, only if compelled by valid legal process under Indian law.
6. Cookies
The website may store small preference cookies in the WebView's local storage. You can clear them at any time from your device's app settings (Settings → Apps → JuristHub → Storage → Clear data) — this is equivalent to clearing browser cookies for the site.
7. Children
The Services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
8. Your rights
Because we do not maintain user accounts or personal data, most data-subject rights (access, portability, correction) do not apply in the typical sense — there is nothing tied to you on our side to retrieve. If you believe we hold any personal data about you, write to krishnashelkeintern@gmail.com with the subject "Data Request — JuristHub" and we will respond within 30 days.
9. Security
The website is served over HTTPS (TLS 1.2+). The app does not allow cleartext traffic. There is no personal data store to harden because none is collected.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy if the Services change. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
