The rules for using the JuristHub website and Android app.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JuristHub website
(dhananan.github.io/JuristHub), the JuristHub
Android application (package com.juristhub.app), and the wrapped portfolio at
djlexfolio.tech (collectively, the "Services"). By using the
Services, you agree to these Terms.
1. What the Services are
JuristHub is a personal portfolio of essays, projects, and research at the intersection of law and code. The Android app is a thin native shell that displays the JuristHub website. The Services do not offer paid courses, subscriptions, accounts, or community features.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Services if you can form a legally binding contract under the laws applicable to you. The Services are not intended for users under 13.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app beyond what is permitted by law.
- Scrape, crawl, or systematically copy content from the website without permission.
- Republish or commercially redistribute essays, designs, or other content as your own.
- Use the Services to transmit unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harmful content.
- Interfere with the security or availability of the Services (DDoS, exploits, malware).
4. Intellectual property
All content on the Services — essays, source code, designs, the JuristHub name and mark, the portfolio site at djlexfolio.tech, and all related materials — is owned by the project author and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You receive a personal, non-transferable, revocable, non-exclusive licence to access and read the public content.
Linked external projects and apps may have their own licences and terms.
5. No professional advice
Essays and other writing on JuristHub are educational and reflect the author's views. They are not legal advice. Don't act on them without consulting a qualified professional for your specific situation.
6. Third-party links
The Services may link to third-party sites or apps (e.g. project demos, social profiles). Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, statutory, or otherwise — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or up to date.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the JuristHub author shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangibles — arising from your use of the Services. In no event shall total aggregate liability exceed ₹1,000.
9. Termination
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. You may stop using the Services at any time by closing the website or uninstalling the app — there are no accounts to delete.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, the courts at Indore, Madhya Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Services after the update means you accept the new Terms.
